And he was still swaddled at the time. It became VERY apparent when he was ready to be done with the swaddle and one night we just didn't use it and he never went back.

He also sleeps better in his own room now. My husband's snoring wakes him up. :) You'll know when it's time. It has to be right for you and for him!

You can even try putting him in his own room until the first time he wakes up at night. This is how we started. I put him in his crib so I could do a few things in his room before putting him to bed and I looked over and he was passed out asleep and that is how he spent his first night in his room. :)Sarah Qhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07311767241334820010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721147924713815708.post-53789663102741937202012-01-06T11:32:44.069-08:002012-01-06T11:32:44.069-08:00I cry every single time I pack away too small clot...I cry every single time I pack away too small clothes.

I've become SUCH a crybaby since B was born!!!Sarah Qhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07311767241334820010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721147924713815708.post-63487366538425622522011-12-14T14:54:11.588-08:002011-12-14T14:54:11.588-08:00Thanks Kyna, and welcome to my blog!!Thanks Kyna, and welcome to my blog!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02059992673539264319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721147924713815708.post-2505684907523737602011-12-14T12:31:46.748-08:002011-12-14T12:31:46.748-08:00You were beautiful pregnant! Doesn't it feel liberating and like a dream come true when you get a 4-hour chunk of sleep? I remember telling James, when Kasey was still waking 1-2 times a night,"I can totally handle the feedings once or twice a night. I don't even need a full night's sleep ... getting up once or twice is just fine." It's hard to even picture sleeping the whole night through ... but that will come too and you'll be so amazed and proud of your little guy (and yourself!). Those first weeks are so rough but it's only a short season, isn't it? Little ones grow so quickly. Pretty soon he'll be walking and talking and you'll be wondering where your little infant went. Glad to read this update. Still praying for you!McMahan familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13440618225226487798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721147924713815708.post-12509692103024392412011-11-13T07:14:25.075-08:002011-11-13T07:14:25.075-08:00LOVE it! It is HARD and sometimes frustrating and painful, but SO SO SO worth it. It is a huge commitment. I was very discouraged at multiple moments with both babies, but after the first month or two, everything just fell into place and I LOVED it. Please do also feel you can call me anytime to talk about it. No one really told me how difficult it can be (really just at the beginning) and how much you really have to commit to it if you want to stick it out. The benefits are beautiful and you'll have moments with your little one that you'll cherish forever. I loved it and can't wait to do it again sometime. :) Kudos to you for being so excited about it!McMahan familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13440618225226487798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721147924713815708.post-22831413364634031312011-08-22T14:41:20.139-07:002011-08-22T14:41:20.139-07:00Congrats! The chills were also because our birthing class sounds almost exactly like how yours went (but we went every Thursday night for six weeks). We LOVED the classes, had so much fun and make so many memories. This whole post makes me want #3 RIGHT NOW! I can't wait to do it all again (if that's what God's will is for us)! SO FLIPPING EXCITED FOR YOU to get your own story, have your own experience ... it's unbelievable and unforgettable. Difficult and painful and stressful and emotional, yes. But obviously the awesome part FAR outweighs the difficulty ... considering how much I want to do it all over again! :) YAY, Mommy Maranda!McMahan familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13440618225226487798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721147924713815708.post-73967187784612864052011-07-21T09:21:41.389-07:002011-07-21T09:21:41.389-07:00I carried both of my boys super low in the last 3 ...I carried both of my boys super low in the last 3 months. The most comfortable position was to sit on one of those lg exercise balls that was 3/4+ full just not full full because I could spread my legs and open up my pelvis ... It gave me relief.
